I heard someone say that the GHSA does not allow a team to play a non region game after their region games start. Is this true?

If not does anyone have an example of a team playing a non region game regularly scheduled after their region slate started?

That's certainly the norm, but I wouldn't say it's a hard and fast rule:

You could also check the GHSA by-laws. I didn't look, but I don't remember it saying anything about that.

There is no rule against it. Grayson played Hoover last season after Grayson had played 4 region opponents.
